Story time…This was taken last year when Bronwyn and I performed in STAGE TIME | NYC Entertainment Company . The incomparable Richard Kind was there but he came in late due to a charity obligation. During the show the performers and audience could both watch together and we wound up shoulder to shoulder. He asked me if I was performing and I explained I already did. He asked me about my act and I told him I played topless accordion. He looked genuinely heartbroken and said with full Richard Kind gesticulation “HOW DID I MISS THAT?” And truly, that was very validating for me. He later took the stage and told some glorious jokes that are burned into my memory. I hope you get to see my little act someday Mr. Kind! Photo by Austin Ruffer
