With an extensive permanent collection and pieces on loan from the STAR family collection, the galleries are always changing. Every time you visit, you may see something you’ve never seen before. If you haven’t visited lately, please come see us Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Give us a call or send an email to [email protected] to book a group of 10+ or to schedule a private tour with one of our museum docents.

This painting is Marian Anderson, 1954, Lacquer on Masonite, by Steffen Thomas from our permanent collection.

Marian Anderson (1897-1993) was an American singer and civil rights pioneer. She was considered one of the greatest singers of the 20th Century and toured wildly, even in segregated spaces.
