The folks at TCAC were wonderful to us this evening with kindness, laughter, friends, new friends and delicious treats! A great turn out and 3 photos have already sold. The show will be up all month so be sure to drop by the gallery in Grafton.
Hello everyone! It looks like September is upon us, bringing Grafton's First Friday with it! And with First Friday, and all the fun it brings, a new show starts at Gallery 62 West.
This month Gallery 62 West is pleased to present the Buckhannon-Upshur Camera
Club’s “COLOR MY WORLD” exhibition!!
This show will open on Friday, Sept 2, 2022, at the Gallery 62 West in Grafton WV, with an opening reception where you can meet the photographers as well as enjoy the show. The reception will be from 6PM to 8PM. All who love beautiful photography will find something special in this show.��
During this exhibition, the members of Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club wish to honor the memory of talented photographer and friend Charmagne Ayotte, who recently passed away. Two of Charmagne’s photographs, “Canaan Valley of Many Colors” and “Bluebird and Blossom” will be featured. �
Camera Club photographers featured in the exhibition come from several counties, including Marion, Harrison, Randolph and Upshur Counties.
Featured photographers include Carol Baxa Meese, Terry Beer Loudin, Karl Boone, Sharon Boone, Victoria Clutter, Kilsong Cox, Kathy Gregg, Gary McCoy, Sandra Miller, Steven Minardi, Anthony Ovies, Dawn Ovies, Bonne Riffle, John Simons, Dale Thomas, Al Tucker, Wendy Parks, and Janna Vaught.
�“Many of our members enjoy the great outdoors with a camera in hand,” said Buckhannon-Upshur Camera Club President Anthony Ovies. “We hope the viewers can travel with us through our photography and see a little piece of West Virginia through our eyes."
"We are so thankful to Gallery 62 West for their support and assistance in putting this show together,” Ovies continued.�� He further wishes to extend an invitation for visitors to “stop by and spend a few minutes seeing the world through our lens.” �
In addition to the opening event on Friday, September 2nd, Gallery 62 West will be open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm through the month of September. Private showings are available by calling 304 265 5500.
