Hi there everyone. As most of you know, our local Dairy Queen on Main Street in Buckhannon was broken into, vandalized, and robbed during the night of July 20th / 21st, 2022. There are several expenses involved that are not able to be replaced by insurance coverage, such as new registers (since insurance only covers the value of the old), cash stolen from the safe, employee wages when they were not able to work, etc.
With that being said, Pop’s Furniture is going to host a bake sale on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 5th, 6th, and 7th, to raise money to help offset some of this financial burden. So I am asking our community to come together and show it’s support to this locally owned staple in our great town. Let’s show them the love they deserve !
Those that are willing to bake / prepare and donate items to be sold (pepperoni rolls, cakes, pies, (use your own discretion if you want to package your cakes and pies whole or individual pieces), cookies, pastries, donuts, apple butter, jelly, or any other type of “table sale” food item), please do so, make sure your items are covered / sealed, and they can be dropped off at Pop’s Furniture at 17 South Florida St. at Jawbone Park on Thursday or Friday, August 4th or 5th, between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM.
Cash donations will also be accepted. I challenge other local businesses to kindly make a monetary donation as well, because this could have just as easily been one of us !
100% of the money traised will go to Dairy Queen directly and the total amount raised will be announced publicly ! No hidden agenda or fees ! This is simply . Thank you in advance for your kindness and support !

I wanted a make a post a BIG THANK YOU to the kids who were working the game "were you shoot at the red cups" me an my husband an our friend's were there getting some food from the food truck an i decided to play unfortunately my husband come over an he had laid our wallet down the sweet kids were honest an nice an brought the wallet to us!! On top of that we all had super good time! Thank you again for the fun an honesty love Maniac Mountain Haunted House.

Not the haunted house just the hay ride corn maze and painting pumpkins I have 17 kids 2 teachers plus 2 adults per kid
