When I was a little boy, I always dreamed of having my own Belted Galloway cattle. Maybe an odd goal compared to the dreams and aspirations of my own kids. My cow Cookie gave birth to a perfect baby calf, with the full belt all the way around its belly, just as i wanted as a child. It only took me 40 years or so to bring it to fruition! Dreams can come true, and so can nightmares, I have learned throughout my life. Luckily for this little cutie, the calf will mostly be a pet on my farm and won’t end up as a McDouble. You’re welcome in advance my little furry new friend and family member 😂😂😂

Our smallest ewe now has 3 healthy little lambs. She has her hands full but is doing a great job!

We have 2 water slides and an axe throwing game from AAA Entertainment here at the farm today for a very special girl’s 17th birthday! Happy Birthday, Maddy 🙂

I knew our gorgeous white galloway was about give birth any day, and she finally did so this past weekend! Welcome to motherhood and spring. I traded 17 round bales of hay for her when I had a surplus, around 2 years ago, bred her to our bull and now she’s starting to produce calves. Cows have always been my favorite of all animals and I just love her. I hope y’all have a great day

My Mom’s husband built a model of my old farm house and farm. It’s really neat and he paid close attention to detail. Thank you so much for the thoughtful gift, Glen! He worked hard to make it just right and we have it displayed right out where everyone can see it

Just one jackass working on the hooves of some other jackasses! Being a miser has its benefits sometimes. I’m too tight to pay a farrier and I get a little better with each trimming. Maybe I should open AAA Farrier Services. Just kidding, the people who do that for a living are a tough and special breed. Maybe if my family was starving! My donkey CJ bit me and Buddy kicked a few times. Homer the stallion was surprisingly one of the most cooperative. CJ stands for Cracker Jack, a name he had when we bought him. He and Buddy are both so sweet usually. Unless you’re trying to make them do something they don’t want to do! Like any donkey i reckon. They can be almost as stubborn as my daughter Maddy hahaha 😂😂😂 these guys seem much happier now! Took a little blood and a lot of sweat but no tears, thankfully
