Merry Christmas from Rivertown Gallery & Studio 🎄
Keek and Bill Bielby are excited to share that Rivertown Gallery & Studio will open at its new downtown location, 111 Main Street in Buchanan, in early April.
The new space will serve as the working studio for Keek Bielby Fine Art. In addition to exhibiting her own work, Keek plans to host weekend pop-up shows throughout the summer and early fall, featuring the work of other local artists and artisans.
Rivertown Gallery & Studio is also home to Bill’s band, The Newport Prairie Project, and to his music studio, Cherry Ridge Records. The band performs at area venues from late spring through early November and looks forward to the occasional impromptu performance around town when the weather — and the mood — are right.
Keek and Bill moved to Buchanan three years ago after fourteen years in the Three Oaks community. During that time, Keek owned and operated Blais Rustic Chic in the historic Three Oaks train depot and was one of the founding partners of Poppy Hill Vintage.
Bill’s band, which originally formed when he was in eighth grade, reconvened in Three Oaks in 2014 and has been performing throughout the region ever since.
This coming summer, The Newport Prairie Project will kick off its season in Buchanan with a show on Sunday, May 31, at The Loading Dock — the town’s vibrant new event venue.
They invite the community to join them for Buchanan’s Back: an evening of blues, alt-country, and prairie rock.
Wishing everyone a warm holiday season and a bright year ahead.
