There’s an hour left on today’s Riverfront Family Fest! Come on down and enjoy our lawn games and bounce house until 3pm today (5/30).

We willdo the Family Fest every Saturday 11am to 3pm (on the dot) until Labor Day weekend.

It’s happening everybody! There’s a bit of a rain left in the forecast to work its way out but once it does, we’ve got a lawn full of good fun waiting.

The aquarium is open from 10am to 4pm, and we’re hosting our Riverfront Family Fest today from 11am to 3pm*! Enjoy a bounce house, lawn games, and all sorts of family fun!

We also have our Critter Craft children’s activity until 1pm today. It’s a great day to do something fun with the family!

We’re keeping the fun going at Riverfront Family Fest this weekend — just with a few weather-friendly adjustments! We’re super excited about this being the opening weekend of our new event and refuse to let the rain get us down!

For safety reasons, we’ve decided not to move forward with the bounce house due to the forecast and changing weather conditions. Instead, we’ve shifted focus toward activities we can reliably offer throughout the event without as many interruptions from passing rain.

Families can still look forward to:

Tug-of-war
Relay races
Giant Connect Four
Giant lawn bowling
Co****le
Ring toss
UNO & card games under the pavilion
Possibly a face painter (weather and scheduling permitting!)

Visit today from 11am to 3pm to participate! We also have our Critter Craft children’s craft activity happening from 10am to 1pm today on the safety of the aquarium’s porch. Today is a can’t miss day at the Aquarium Park Campus!

The market is a go! Come visit the aquarium and then check out our market! The aquarium is indoors and the market is under tents so don’t let the rain scare you away, it’s gonna be a great day.

And we’re ready to go!

We had a slight delay due to the weather but we’re gonna try our best to be out here today for as long as we can and we’d love it if you came to visit!

We’re once again joined by students from Mountain Discovery Charter School selling plant starts and have a great selection of other goods. We have produce, paintings, fresh cut flowers, hand made soaps, hand tied fishing flies, salves and balms, and beautiful wooden art pieces.

Hopefully we can stay until 2pm but best hurry on down just in case!

Don’t let the rain get you down this Memorial Day Weekend, there’s still plenty to do at the Aquarium Park Campus!

Join us today (Thurs 5/21) from 10am to 4pm for an escape from the rain! The Aquarium and Fly Fishing Museum will be open to explore, including getting a chance to enjoy the family-friendly scavenger hunt activity.

Tomorrow (Fri 5/22) from 9am to 2pm we will be hosting the Smoky Mountain Farmers and Artisans Market! As long as we don’t have any heavy rain or wind/lightning the market goes on and we always have a great selection of local vendors. [check online an hour before event to confirm it hasn’t been cancelled]

Saturday (5/23) from 11am to 3pm we’re hosting our very first ever Riverfront Family Fest! We’re hoping the weather holds out for us for this event which features bounce houses, lawn games, and potentially a face painter and craft vendors! As long as we don’t get heavy rain or wind/lightning we will give it a go! [check online an hour before event to confirm it hasn’t been cancelled]

And if not, on Saturday we will also have our Critter Craft children’s craft where your child can tie their own fake fishing fly from 10am to 1pm.

This weekend is packed with opportunities, don’t miss out!

While you’re in town to visit the Smoky Mountain Farmers and Artisans Market be sure to stop by and visit with us (or vice versa)! They’re open from 9am to 2pm and we’re open from 10am to 4pm.

It’s a beautiful day to visit the aquarium, fly fishing museum, and to shop local while you’re at it.
