Glencairn Museum is proud to participate in the Blue Star Museums program and honor active-duty military personnel and their families with free admission to Glencairn tours and this summer (and throughout the year). 🇺🇸✨

Supporting military families has long held special meaning at Glencairn. This archival photo is of Nathan and Garthowen Pitcairn in the Tower in 1943. Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn’s four sons all served in the military in the Second World War, making this program especially meaningful to our community and history.

We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of military families and look forward to welcoming you to explore Glencairn’s architecture, collections, and inspiring spaces together.

The Blue Star Museums program runs from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day and is presented by the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families.
