Glencairn, built between 1928 and 1939, was the home of the Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn family for forty years. Visitors explore beliefs and practices through renowned art collections, including ancient Egyptian, ancient Greek and Roman, medieval Christian, Islamic, Asian, and American Indian. inest. Glencairn Museum is currently undergoing a comprehensive infrastructure replacement project. The next phase of the project requires that the Museum be temporarily closed to the public for approximately 18 months, beginning Saturday, April 30, 2022.
