Today we proudly kick off Black History Month at TaMiya’s Studio of Dance and TaMiya’s Dance Company—spaces created, led, and inspired by TaMiya Hale, a young Black woman whose vision, passion, and perseverance continue to shape the next generation of dancers.

Black history is not just history—it’s culture, creativity, resilience, rhythm, and excellence. Throughout this month, we honor the pioneers who paved the way, celebrate the voices that continue to move us forward, and uplift the dreams of the dancers who walk through our doors every day.

We are proud to be a Black-owned business, proud to pour into our community, and proud to create a space where our dancers can learn, grow, express, and shine.

Today we celebrate FOUR incredible years of rhythm, growth, passion, and purpose!

From a dream sparked by a bold 16-year-old to a thriving studio led by a 20-year-old powerhouse @—TaMiya’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. As the youngest dance studio owner in Arkansas, she broke barriers and built a legacy that keeps growing with every eight-count.

We’re so grateful for every dancer, parent, supporter, and team member who has believed in the vision and moved with us over these four amazing years. Here's to more memories, milestones, and movement!

We’re raising funds through our 40-Day Calendar Fundraiser to support TaMiya’s Studio of Dance — helping cover the costs of competitions, costumes, travel, and enriching dance experiences for our talented dancers!

Each day on the calendar represents a donation amount ($1 for Day 1, $2 for Day 2, and so on… up to $40). We're asking for your support to “claim a day” and help us fill the entire calendar!
