Art of Movement Dance Studio Art of Movement Dance Studio opened in September of 2017. We offer a variety of dance styles to a wide range of ages.

The Art of Movement Dance Studio has been serving our community since the fall of 2017. We offer ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, and pointe to dancers 4 yrs old and up. The owner of the studio, Emily Eschhofen, has a degree in dance from Eastern Michigan University. She has studied throughout the United States with various dance companies as well as attended many conferences and workshops. Emi

ly is also an RYT200 certified yoga instructor. She has extensive knowledge when it comes to movement of all kinds. Emily's true passion is dance and teaching this beautiful art form. All of our talented teachers are dedicated to sharing their passion for dance with their students and encouraging them to allow their light to shine.

There’s something for every little mover and dancer at AMDS this fall! 🍂

Our Fall Session Offerings are a wonderful opportunity for children to experience movement, build new skills, and become part of the AMDS community! Whether they’re experiencing a structured movement environment for the first time or continuing to grow their love of dance, our sessions are designed to create positive experiences that can grow with them for seasons to come.

Through Small & Tall, Creative Movement, and Homeschool Ballet, participants can:

✨ Build body awareness, coordination & gross motor skills
✨ Develop confidence and independence
✨ Explore creativity through movement
✨ Learn age-appropriate skills and classroom expectations
✨ Meet new friends and build connections
✨ Discover a love for movement and dance!

With options beginning as young as 18 months, there’s a place to start their movement journey this fall!
