Stopped by the property this morning. Barely a sign Prairie Field ever existed. The asphalt path walkway between Fields 1 and 2 into the complex as well as the asphalt around the tourney headquarters and snack shack has all been removed.

GREAT NEWS! The great pumpkin tournaments are back!! I ( Brian) have secured dates for the great pumpkin at Roy Morse park In Longview! RAIN or SHINE! Camping available, lights on 2 fields. Spread the word!

ALL prior Prairie Events are slowly being moved to Longview! Contact Brian Heffley or Tayler Bigley for more information.

UPDATE!!!

Following dates are secured with the following options-

October 3-4 - Men’s and Women’s
October 10-11 - Coed ( 7/3)
October 24-25 - Coed (7/3)

We received word from the family that Gladys "Glady" HIll passed away early yesterday morning. I had received a call from Glady a couple months ago checking in and to give some updates on her health. She had been in our thoughts.

She was a force behind Prairie Field Association for many years; she kept those of us on the Board on our toes, but I knew her advocacy was always to maintain the special place her Father, Eino Hill, had built.
