Theater Project Alumni

Theater Project Alumni This page is for the alumni of the Young People's Theater, or Theater Project, of Brunswick, ME. A place to connect, reconnect, be updated and stay in the loop!

The Theater Project was founded in 1971 as a non-profit community-based theater in Brunswick, Maine. For over 40 years we have provided innovative, entertaining performances, designed programming for members of our community with special needs, and taught theater to thousands of children from Maine to the Middle East and beyond. In 1986 The Theater Project purchased an important historical landmar

k as a facility to entertain and educate the members of this community well into the next millennium. Built in 1827, the building is located on School Street in the heart of downtown Brunswick, and continues to serve as an integral part of the community. The purchase of this beautifully preserved building has enabled The Theater Project to grow into a small but thriving year-round theater facility. The Theater Project is committed to offering the community stimulating performances that encourage audiences and participants to think and feel; to laugh and cry. We are equally committed to an educational program that enables participants to take risks, to discover their creative spirit while problem solving and working together, and to take responsibility for what they accomplish.

Hi Alumni!

We're collecting Peter Pan memories...We've done it at least three times. Do you have any you'd like to share? Doesn't necessarily just have to be at TTP either. Send us a message or email them to [email protected]!

Thank you!

Hello Alumni!

We're working on something big for next year and need your help. I've written out two questions- could you please answer one or both of them in either a) a short video, or b) (if you're so inclined) a blog post? Please send to [email protected]. We're hoping to hear from as many of you as we can! It would also be helpful if you could include your name and the years you were active at The Theater Project in your video/writing! We will be using these in an online format, so if you're not comfortable being on social media, you could always write something anonymously. Just let me know if that's what you prefer!

Question: How has live theater benefited your life?

Alternate question: Why is live theater important?

Thank you so much!!
