D I D Y O U K N O W Many of your favorite entertainers were once accomplished athletes? 😱

Student athletes at BHS who want to pursue an interest in the performing arts are supported tremendously. Both Ms. P and Ms. C will work with students and coaches to help balance both activities realistically.

Here are just some of the shining examples of those who love both!

The drama club is thrilled to begin cast & crew selections next week for “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”

Students who want to get involved:
1. Join the drama club Schoology group. Find the fall play website linked there.
2. Print out a show contract to be signed by you & a parent/guardian. Bring it to the meeting date listed.
3. Attend the meeting required based on interest (cast is Monday, crew is Tuesday). The first part of each meeting we will discuss rehearsal requirements and the updated show contract. At 3:30 all veteran members will be dismissed and new members will attend a new member workshop. Crew leadership interviews will also take place on Tuesday after the workshop for those interested in stage management team and crew-head positions.
4. Submit all digital materials by 3pm Wednesday (links to forms on production website)
5. Check the website for callback lists and the final cast and crew decisions during the week.

We hope to see you there and can’t wait to start our spooky season 🎃👻💀

Welcome back to school! The BHStage drama club is very excited to begin casting for the fall play The Legend of Sleepy Hollow next week!

Students interested in auditioning for the cast or applying to be on the crew can find information on the new Drama Club Schoology group. Check out the callboard as well outside of room 400 for copies of the required show contract to bring to the required meeting(s) next week after school.

Many congratulations to BMS Theater for a wonderful run of “Newsies Jr.” this weekend in the high school’s auditorium!

Special thanks to all the high school theater students who helped out and supported their production from working lights, choreographing, and helping out backstage. We’re very proud the bond between our schools and love to see the mentorship that exists between our programs.

Shout out to Heather McFadden Pomerantz and Matt Fowle for their exceptional leadership and dedication to arts education.
