BIG NEWS!

As we celebrate 55 years of The Theater Project, we’re excited to announce the person helping lead the way into the next chapter:

🌟 Welcome, Marty Johnson, our new Executive Director! 🌟

Marty is an award-winning arts leader, theater educator, and director with 30+ years of experience creating opportunities for young people, artists, and communities across the U.S. and around the world. Now, he’s bringing that experience with his passion for theater and community home to Maine.

“I am incredibly excited and honored to join The Theater Project as Executive Director. The opportunity to lead an organization so deeply committed to theater, education, and community is especially meaningful to me. I look forward to building on The Theater Project’s rich history and creating even more opportunities for people of all ages to experience the transformative power of theater.”

Welcome, Marty! We’re so excited for what’s ahead!
