Elite Dance Academy Elite Dance is proud to present its staff of talented choreographers and instructors. Elite provides Elite has been in existence since 1996.

Since day one, the staff at Elite has believed very strongly in promoting not only the best in dance education, but also the overall well-being of each child. Dance offers each student technique, self-discipline, exercise, flexibility, musicality, a sense of pride, setting individual goals, friendships, self growth and the importance of teamwork. What a week at the first EVER ⭐️ We seriously could not be prouder of how our dancers closed out our incredible 30th season. The days were non-stop, the talent off the charts, and still they showed up and showed out.

With almost 8 hours of group competition in every age division they were able to secure a spot THREE TIMES in the Enkor where the top routines would re-compete for “The Best of the One”. In addition “Step In Time” took first overall junior production and highest scoring junior musical theatre. “These Boots Are Made For Walking” was the highest scoring senior speciality and “Send in the Clowns” took 2nd overall teen duo/trio. 15 out of out 16 group routines received “The One” adjudications….🤯

More importantly than anything, we watched them come together as a team to take the stage with these routines for one last epic performance. It is quite spectator to see the progress year after year when we compete at the highest level. We hope everyone is heading home feeling so inspired and so accomplished. We wish it never had to end😥

Recital is just about here. We hope to see you at our shows. Company Show is at 7 pm.on May 30th come early for the red carper at 6 p.m. and Sunday May 31st is our Dance Team/Recreational show with select Company dances at 3 p.m. with red carpet at 2 pm. Any dance team or recreational family who would like to come and see the Company recital make sure you get tickets we would love to have you see the award winning Company and their master pieces one last time before they head off to Nationals this summer. WHAT A WEEKEND❕❕ Second full team event in the books and we could not be more proud of our dancers growth this past weekend. The evolution of our routines in just a few short weeks from our first event is remarkable. Their dedication and determination is second to none. They represented Elite’s artistry, discipline, and versatility in the best way possible. They were able to take home the highest scoring routine in TWO age divisions. Our dancers all left so inspired and fulfilled. Thank you for the BEST WEEKEND⭐️

Shout out to the NYCDA Pittsburgh Regional Outstanding Studio 🌟 ELITE DANCE ACADEMY 🌟 from Ohio. Congrats to all the teachers, choreographers and dancers!

To be eligible for Regional Outstanding Studio, studios must meet a set of eight regional prerequisites between Mini / Junior and Teen / Senior group entries. Additionally, 50% of choreography must be done by full-time in-studio choreographers. Regional Outstanding Studios are honored at Convention Finale, and receive a $500 NYCDA Gift Certificate.

First full team event & first ever experience with the full studio at . There aren’t many words🥺 The things they celebrate and the lessons they preach go far beyond the competition dance world. Our misssion is to instill a strong technical foundation that can allow our dancers to explore and develop their artistry/individuality. This was acknowledged on so many levels and we could not be more humbled and honored. Thank you to the entire faculty and organization for sharing your immense wisdom and love for educating with our dancers this weekend. Quality over quantity always. And NYCDA is truly that and then some.

A few weekend highlights! Our team received the HIGHEST SCORE of the ENTIRE AGE DIVISION for the JUNIOR, TEEN, and SENIOR level. We received a Critic’s Choice in all 4 divisions. We were given the “Class Act” award for the mini/junior level & the “Versatility” award for the teen/senior level. We had the privelege of reperforming in the closing show as the one “Judge’s Pick” of the weekend. And lastly, but certainly not least, we were awarded regional Outstanding Studio. Proud does not even cut it.
