Low Tide Blessings

Fell behind on a few big Christmas orders. When I get caught up, I’d be glad to list it again.

Always grateful.

I’m enjoying these lighthouses. Funny thing though, I’ve never been in one. Have you!

Hey y’all.

I’m as guilty and as human as the next.

Lord,
It’s so easy to talk down on others.
Please continue to hold me accountable and guide my heart and mouth in a direction that pleases you.

Amen.

Creature feature: The Butterfly.

A butterfly doesn't emerge from its chrysalis with fully functional wings ready for flight. Its wings are initially soft and folded. It must expand them with fluid and allow them to dry and harden before flying.

Sometimes a season of change isn't about being ready to fly immediately. It's about becoming what we were meant to be.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

Hey y’all! I’ve got a longer video of me carving this morning for those of you who are curious about how I do what I do. Way too longer for FB scrollers and I respect that.

If you’d like to watch me work, just head over to

No glitz, no glamour. Just me, Ms Anita’s shell, and a little time at the workbench.

Have a great Friday.

Low Tide Blessings began as a hobby during my sobriety, something to keep my hands busy and my mind focused. What started small quickly became something much more meaningful.

Good mornin yall…….

A Friday Morning Prayer for the Brokenhearted

Lord, help me release the shame of yesterday, the choices I regret, and the relationships where I invested my heart but lost my way. Help me understand that even when something ends, the love I gave was not wasted. Heal what hurts, forgive what needs forgiving, and give me the courage to begin again. Remind me that I am still worthy of love, still seen by You, and never too far gone for Your grace.

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18

I’ve been enjoying these. I may have to do the St.Simon’s lighthouse next. It’s been a great day. Are y’all ready for another scavenger hunt giveaway?
