We Piddle Around Theater The We Piddle Around Theater is housed in the former Brundidge City Hall building that was built in 1940 as a Works Project Administration (WPA) project.

The WPA provided jobs for those who desperately needed and wanted to work. However, the WPA workers " From the sawdust on the floor to the paintings on the wall, to the delicious food served up family style, the Brundidge Historical Society obviously knows, instinctively, that the public can be effectively reached through all its senses and created the perfect aesthetic atmosphere for preserving A

The WPA is most know as home of the Come Home Its Suppertime play that tells stories of Brundidge and the surrounding areas in Pike County during the Depression time. These golden, time-told stories will have you laughing (and maybe even crying) as you take a trip back in time to see Pike County back during the depression. You will have a great time and some 'good eatins' too! Come on down and enjoy the show, we will be glad to have ya! The WPA also offers the Storytelling Festival and The Country Christmas Chili. The Storytelling Festival is a show consisting of some great, renowned story-tellers that will grab your attention and keep it as they tell some of the best stories to be told. The Country Christmas Chili is a chance to experience a chili-meal while being entertained by guest musicians and even the theater's own band.

Im sad to announce that Spring of '15 season WILL NOT take place due to unforeseeable circumstance. Sorry folks, the Fall season is expected to take place though so hang in there and we will see you then!

The Brundidge Historical Society was loosely organized by a group of like-minded people some time in the late 1980s. No one knows for sure because no one thought that it mattered.
