Congrats to our amazing team for a wonderful opening weekend! We are so thankful for all of our lovely patrons that showed their support! In honor of celebrations... our very own Rachel Kay Curtiss had a world premiere of her new show "When Grandma Goes"! We will be preforming it (along with many other amazing shows) through August 9th so sn**ch those tickets!

Funeral preparations are being made for the patriarch of the Meinhardt farm dynasty, and a tense family reunion is sure to blow in like a Kansas storm. Especially when the fate of the land is in the hands of Grandma, who is tougher than a bull, snappier than ginger, and hiding something behind every door in her kitchen. A modern farm farce that hits way too close to home, directly onto your funny bone, and into your heart.

Lizzy Pegler(Associate Director) is celebrating ten seasons with BVT. When not in Brownville, Lizzy travels the world as a Wardrobe Supervisor with Regent Seven Seas Cruises and has been to over 70 countries. Lizzy would like to thank the entire Brownville community, including the Board, Mitch and Rachel, and all of our Contributors, for continuing to keep the arts alive in rural Nebraska. She also wants to dedicate this season to her mentor, Dr. Charles “Chet” Harper, lovingly referred to as Doc. Doc hired Lizzy back in 2015 which was the beginning of her professional journey as a theatre artist. He will be greatly missed but his legacy lives on in the lives of all who had the opportunity to know him. You can learn more about Lizzy on her website www.lizzypegler.com
