This week, Brownsburg thespians from kindergarten to 8th grade worked hard to put on a production of Moana Jr. With only a week to block, choreograph, learn vocals, and make props, they were able to learn an hour long show! We could not be more proud and we hope you can come support our campers tonight at 5 and 7 in the BHS auditorium!!

It’s that time of year once again! Our annual kids camp is coming up on February 1st. Kids Camp is a fun-filled day of theatre from 9 am-5 pm at Brownsburg High School. The camp is for students from 1st through 8th grade. There will be acting workshops, crafts, tech and crew workshops as well as a play each group will be learning, all culminating in a campfire performance for each group at 5:00 pm for parents, family, and friends to see. Kids camp will be here in the blink of an eye! For those who don’t know, kids camp is an annual day-long event where our theater teaches kids the basics of performance. At the end of the day, all groups, from kindergarten to 8th grade perform scenes written by their team leads. We need YOU to be a team lead. You will have the opportunity to write a script, work with kids, and earn volunteer hours. If you are interested, come to drama club TODAY and learn more. Can’t wait to see you there!

Tomorrow after school is the callout meeting for the spring play, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime!” We will discuss what the show is about and how auditions will look for both cast and crew. Seeing as the play covers sensitive topics, we’d like to have a cast and and crew which is well informed on the topics covered in the play. And so, if you would like to be a part of the spring play, you MUST attend this callout meeting. If you cannot attend, but would like to participate, reach out to Mrs. Keeler so she can get you the information you need. Hope to see you there!

MEET THE CAST!
See this talanted cast perform “10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse” this Friday in the BHS auditorium before they take it to Avon to compete Saturday morning!
Tickets are $5 which includes admission and a cupcake! Purchase at the door.

Sadly, due to logistical reasons, the car show has been cancelled. We greatly appreciate everyone who has worked with us to try and get this thing off the ground. It’s just not going to happen.
But! We still have a show coming up! Tickets are on sale for the incredible production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang right NOW! We can’t wait to see you there!
