Lodgepole Gallery, tucked in the breathtaking foothills of the Rocky Mountains bordering Glacier National Park, near Browning, Montana on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. We invite you to visit our Native American Art gallery displaying contemporary and traditional fine art or Kunst, including Blackfoot Indian art and intricate Blackfeet Indian bead-work. Since 1993 we feature almost exclusively

Montana’s locally created arts & crafts. We’ve been hosting guests from around the world for a generation now. In a previous time, we honored local practices by offering a lodging experience that replicated a traditional Blackfeet tipi-camp. Now as we carefully step into a new era, we plan to continue to offer lodging and a unique cultural experience rooted in Blackfeet tradition. Our new cabins will continue to carry on our tradition of providing a special experience to visitors and family. $90 Million from NP entrance fees have been used for DC vanity projects. In the meantime the restroom at the Two Medicine Lake is in desperate need of renovation. That is just one example. I'm pleased to let you know the hot water issue with the showers has been resolved. It's important to me to provide the best possible experience for my customers. Also, the rain and the cooler temperatures we have had since yesterday will clear the smoky air and reduce the fire danger. I am looking forward to the weekend and sunshine again. 🚗 Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road Opening Update
The full length of Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road is expected to open to motorized vehicles on Monday, June 22 for the 2026 summer season. Rockfalls or other natural events may delay the opening, as conditions can change quickly.

🚴 Full Length of Going-to-the-Sun Road Open to Bicyclists
Bicyclists can bike the full length of Going-to-the-Sun Road beginning today, June 18 and extending through June 21, before the road opens to vehicle traffic. As we prepare for opening, bicyclists should watch for administrative traffic beyond the vehicle closure, especially on Thursday and Friday, June 18–19.

🔔 Bicycling Safety Reminders

• Always wear a helmet

• Maintain safe speed and control

• Bicyclists must follow the same rules as motor vehicles

• Bring a headlamp for early morning or evening rides

• Never leave food unattended

• Mount and dismount e‑bikes carefully—battery weight adds 20+ lbs

• Only Class 1 pedal‑assist e‑bikes (≤750 watts) are allowed

• Carry and know how to use bear spray

• Check tire pressure and bring tools for repairs

🅿️ Parking Expectations
Visitors should only park in designated parking spaces throughout the park.

🌄 Visitor information services and the Glacier National Park Conservancy bookstore will not be available at the Logan Pass Visitor Center until June 22. Restrooms will be open. Bicyclists riding before June 22 should plan accordingly.
