ASTER is taking a lighthearted turn with our upcoming concert.
The mirth-filled music we have chosen will bring gentle smiles, belly laughs, giggles and guffaws.

Colorado composer Kari Kraakevik's new work "Quire in Qwerty - That Almost Sentient Mechanism" for choir, piano and amplified typewriter will be premiered and is guaranteed to make you think differently about the quick brown fox who jumps over the lazy dog!

It's hard to believe that I founded this group in April of 2000. I've met so many wonderful women and we have created so much beautiful music together and seen one another through good times and bad throughout these twenty-five years. I am a lucky woman.

There is Plenty Good Room for you at the party. Rumor has it that it will be an Unclouded Day.

Tickets for the BSO Music of the Holiday Season featuring the ASTER Women's Chamber Choir are SOLD. Well, there is one ticket left for Saturday's performance as of this writing, but that's it. We will not have any tickets available at the door. Thanks so much to all you music lovers in Broomfield and beyond for your patronage and support. We can't wait to celebrate the holiday season with you this weekend!

We have listened to you! And ASTER will be performing familiar songs with roots in classic rock, a ca****la tongue twisters and meditative choral anthems to celebrate home, sweet home on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2 PM at the Broomfield Auditorium. Selections include Somewhere That’s Green, Our House, and Celebrate Me Home, along with pieces which sing the praises of chili and colcannon.

The Bond Duo will bring their guitars and classic stylings of folk music. Kristin Hyser, director of the Broomfield Housing Alliance will help us remember or discover just what home can mean.

For those planning to attend ASTER's concert this Saturday in person, In case the weather turns nasty and you prefer to stay home, the concert is being live streamed. Preparing for our "Surprising Shakespeare" concert which will be on October 28th, at 2 PM at the Broomfield Auditorium. ASTER Will offer a charming set of a ca****la works by Amy Beach, a jazzy set by Clifford Stillwell, Jr., and excerpts from the musicals "Kiss me Kate" and "West Side Story" Actors will perform soliloquies and sonnets to round out the concert. Less than three weeks until ASTER presents "A Celebration of the Life and Music of Alex Craig" on Sunday, September 17th at 4 PM at the Broomfield Auditorium. Free and open to the public. The program will include choral, instrumental, solo vocal and chamber music. All composed by Alex Craig.
