Gilded Lion Miniatures Gilded Lion Miniatures is a Resin 3D Printing store that focuses on Figurines, Statues, and Miniatures. And that leads us to where we are today.

Gilded Lion Miniatures started out as a dream - to slowly learn more and more about the board game and miniature industry. In February of 2020, the pandemic caused my life to come to a halt. My favorite pastime, board games and DND were suddenly off the table. As a result of quarantining for months - I decided I wanted to pick up miniature painting as a means to cope. It ahs always been a goal to

work on board games, and the combination of miniature painting and 3D printing seemed to open the door. I hope to someday be able to create board games on the side, as I have had a few ideas and concepts. So, from that dream, I gradually got into 3D Printing after visiting a additivity manufacturing facility, and after learning about the high quality of resin SLA printers. Later on, I acquired an FDM Printer to slowly begin working on printing large buildings and scenery. During this process, I was inspired by many miniature painters, such as local Minnesotan, Miniac, Age of Squidmar, and many others. As my 3D Printing skills developed I began to receive requests locally for 3D Printing needs. Eventually I commissioned a centaur sculpt from the wonderful artist Volpebox. Slowly but surely, I realized I could open an online Etsy store and other ecommerce sites to sell these 3D prints, and help fund the hobby further! I hope to get another larger resin printer as time goes on, and be able to print larger pieces. I also dream of commissioning more fantasy miniatures, mermaids, fauns, and more. Perhaps even a gilded lion?

Not every day do we get to post about resins! Chitu sent me some Conjure Sculpt and Conjure Tough resin to test out! I’ve been really impressed with the detailed prints of both the sculpt and tough resins! And both are pretty resistant (the tough resin can really bend!). I’ve been pretty impressed as the resins were able to handle printing this very hard-to-print sword without issue while also providing durability! Definitely take a look at their resin, I’m hoping to experiment more with their beige colored resin!

Thanks for the samples! I hope to try more of it!
