There is just under 4 1/2 hours left until the Annual Brookville Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony kicks off! Have you invited all of your friends and family to go with you?

Tonight at 6pm the Downtown Brookville Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at The Samuel Spitler House in Brookville, Ohio.

Please come and celebrate the season with friends and family. This year Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance along with Brookville School's music ensembles, horse-drawn carriage rides, Frosty the Snowman and Downtown Brookville, Ohio shopping opportunities.

The Brookville Police Department will be doing their 'Toys for Tots Kick-off' to collect unopened toys for children in need and the Brookville, OH Area Chamber of Commerce will be collecting donations for their local needs list.

Thrush & Son: Complete Home Improvement LLC. and Chase Electric have a boy vs girls competitions going on and have bought a boys and a girls power wheel vehicle to raffle off. With a qualifying donation of $10.00 or more, you will have a chance to win one of these vehicles for your child!

What a fantastic beginning to Memorial Day weekend. The weather is nice and the clouds are just right!

What a fantastic day today. There is plenty of sun, cool breezes and puffy clouds for everyone to enjoy and with five parks to choose there is no shortage of parks in Brookville, Ohio!

If you are downtown there is Albert Gruenig Memorial Park and Ward Park. Closer to the highway is Gateway Park and Golden Gate Park and near the school you can visit us (Westbrook Park Soccer Complex).
