๐Ÿ’ SOMETHING NEW IS COMING TO COUNTRY KINGDOM! ๐Ÿ’

Meet our newest little troop โ€” FIVE baby squirrel monkeys! ๐Ÿ˜

For now, these tiny guys are still living inside with us while they grow, learn, and get a whole lot of attention. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Over the next couple of months, theyโ€™ll stay indoors while we work on their brand-new permanent enclosure, which weโ€™re hoping to have ready sometime in October!
And yesโ€ฆ we have something pretty awesome planned for them. ๐Ÿ‘€

Weโ€™re not announcing all the details just yet, but get ready for an ALL-NEW squirrel monkey encounter at Country Kingdom! ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒด

A few fun facts about squirrel monkeys:
๐Ÿ’ Theyโ€™re incredibly social and naturally live in groups called troops.
๐Ÿง  Theyโ€™re intelligent, curious, and constantly exploring their surroundings.
๐ŸŒณ In the wild, they spend much of their lives moving through the trees of Central and South American forests.
โšก They may be tiny, but they are FAST โ€” squirrel monkeys can leap, climb, and maneuver through branches incredibly well.
๐Ÿ‘€ Their huge eyes help give them excellent vision for navigating the forest.
๐Ÿค Adults are still relatively small, generally weighing only around 1.5โ€“2.5 pounds, depending on s*x and species.

Watching these five grow together has already been an adventure, and we can't wait for everyone to meet them.
