The Irish Hills Roots and String Music Series

The Irish Hills Roots and String Music Series The Irish Hills Roots and String Music Series is a way to bring great live music to the Irish Hills We could NOT do this without them.

Formed in February of 2016, This Music Series has a Three-fold Mission:

1.) Bring an eclectic mix of live music acts to the music lovers in the Irish Hills and surrounding communities.

2.) Promote live music and respectfully compensate the artists.

3.) Do our part to help the community through "Trickle-Up Compassion"; A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to the Brooklyn Food Pantry, to feed

those less fortunate. Our partners, Jerry's Pub and Restaurant, donate the venue to us for our shows. Their ONLY compensation is the opportunity to serve our patrons food and drinks. Our long range goals:
> Become a legal non-profit, so we can sell corporate sponsorship's and individual/family patron packages.
> Host a "One-Day" Music Festival, featuring our most popular alumni acts. Thank you for helping to get this started and continuing in our growth.

Back on April 21, 2016 Billy played for us at Jerry’s Pub.
Here’s a video of what he’s doing these days. This was a very rare cover of a Grateful Dead song. He played “Me and my Uncle” to pay tribute to Bobby Weir who had recently taken flight to the next dimension. Enjoy!
