Bucktown USA Entertainment, LLC is about film, video, music and media. General Steele of the classic Hip Hop group Smif-n-Wessun and Bootcamp Clik, began producing various recording projects. Not long after General Steele and Smif-n-Wessun altered the world's perception of Hip Hop with songs like "Soundboy Burial" (from the debut album Da Shinin, 1995), Cynical Smith was developing a following of

her own, becoming known for pushing the progression of the art through radio. In 1996 her show on 105.9, "Ear to the Ground's Hip Hop Countdown" captured the attention of DJ Evil Dee, 1/2 of The Beatminerz Production Team, and she was offered the opportunity to produce a full online Hip Hop show called Beatminerz Radio on 88HipHop.com, which ran 1997-2000. The show was so innovative and groundbreaking, combining music and news, it was hailed as a revolutionary way to further Hip Hop culture. Through their shared colleague and mutual friend, General Steele met Cynical Smith and an alliance was born that fused General Steele's music production skills with Cynical Smith's internet and video production base to create Bucktown USA Entertainment, LLC.
