Come see these gorgeous ceramic assemblages at our BCAT Exhibition: Verdant Earth. The exhibition brings together over 40 artists from the Gasworks community – members, students, instructors, staff, and friends – in celebration of the lush, bountiful, and generous earth. Please join us on May 30th, 2-9pm for a full day of greenery: the show will be open alongside a pop-up market with drinks and reception in the evening from 7-9pm.

Verdant Earth will be on view at from May 30 - June 27. Please join us for the opening on May 30, 2-9pm. We hope to see you there!

The wares from those who took the Robbie Lobell Clay Cookware Workshop are out and ready and gorgeous! We formulated three new glazes for the specialty flameware clay, and it’s been so exciting to see all of the colors and shapes come out of the kiln the last few weeks. If you took this class, stop by and pick up your beautiful pieces and be sure and tag us as you make delicious foods in your cookware!

Please join us on May 30th, 2-9pm for a full day of greenery: the show will be open alongside a pop-up market featuring , , .studio, and .nyc, with drinks in the evening from 7-9pm.

This exhibition is on the occasion of weekend, and will be open to view at Gallery 198 Thursday-Sunday, 12-6pm. We hope you can join us 🌿

Beautiful porcelain + crochet trophies by ! Thanks everyone for coming out last night to our third annual Public Ceramics fundraiser and throw down. Together we raised $4700 for Public Ceramics!

One week until our 3rd annual fundraiser and throwdown for Public Ceramics! May 2nd 7-9 pm will be an evening full of food, contests, prizes, and ceramic community joy! 100% proceeds go to to fund our fellowship and residency program.
We have lots of raffle prizes generously donated by members of our community! You could win a gift card to a Textile Arts Center workshop, Rabbit Hole Vintage, a book bundle from Feminist Press, a ticket package to the American Museum of Natural History, and more.

We had an amazing time with Robbie Lobell last weekend making stovetop and oven-safe pots with Robbie’s special flameware. The students were prolific and made so many incredible pots over just 3 days. It was an honor to learn from Robbie, and we’re so grateful to her for making the trip all the way from Washington state for us. Thank you to all the students for your hard work, engagement, and flexibility during the workshop. Stay tuned to see how we fire these pots, and let us know if you would be interested in working with flameware at our studio in the comments!
