We disagree.

It’s about who you trust when the lights go out. Who stands beside you when the path disappears. Who laughs with you after the scream.

Love isn’t always roses and candlelight.

Sometimes it’s loyalty. Sometimes it’s friendship. Sometimes it’s the person who grabs your hand in the dark and says, “Let’s go.”

At Carver’s Curse, devotion isn’t about couples.

Some people avoid black cats. Some won’t walk under ladders. Some refuse to leave the house at all.

We celebrate the unlucky.

Because if you survived Carver’s Curse last season, you already know fear doesn’t follow calendars.

A new year is creeping closer and even we at Carver’s Curse like to set a few resolutions before the shadows return.

Here are a few eerily good intentions we’re taking into the new year:

🎭 Find magic in strange and unexpected places
🕷️ Notice the little things most people overlook
💀 Face fears — even the ones hiding in the dark
🌙 Take time to enjoy quiet, moonlit moments
👁️ Choose curiosity over fear when it’s safe
🎃 Bring a little mystery and wonder to others
🖤 Be kinder than people expect, even monsters have hearts
🌫️ Appreciate the stories that live in old places
✨ Celebrate every bit of courage, big or small

Because even in the world of ghosts, ghouls, and twisted tales
there’s always room for growth and a little mischief along the way. 😈

Now that the last lantern has dimmed and Carver’s Curse is tucked away for the season, we want to shine a little light on the incredible place we’re lucky to call home: Barberry Farm

Carver’s Curse operates on this beautiful, working family farm. While the “gates of the Curse” aren’t open year-round, Barberry Farm is a cornerstone of local agriculture and agritourism here in our community. Supporting farms like theirs helps keep agriculture strong, preserves open space, and gives families a chance to enjoy the land in meaningful ways.

As we head into the holidays, Barberry Farm shifts from cornfields and spooky fun to festive cheer.

They’ll be offering Christmas trees, handcrafted wreaths and seasonal greenery. They are a perfect way to support local while making your home feel merry and bright.

If you enjoyed visiting us this fall, we hope you’ll follow and support the farm that makes it all possible. Thank you for supporting local agriculture, local families, and the home of the Curse!
