DOMINIC FRANCESCO
Dominic is a 20-year old singer-songwriter & self taught piano player from Columbus, Ohio. The youngest of seven children, he grew up in a relaxed close-knit family in which everyone played at least one instrument & many also sang. Most of his siblings attended or are attending college, but Dominic negotiated an agreement with his parents to postpone college in order to work on his music. The agreement: Dominic must live at home & help work the family farm while working as a musician. If he can't support himself musically by the age of 21, then he must enter college at that time. So, Dominic spent a year on the farm writing music & developing his sound, before beginning a round of open mics at local Columbus Ohio venues. He quickly became accomplished on stage & was considered by many to be a fast rising star. Near the end of his first year on the Columbus scene, he was signed by Nashville Label Winter Records to record a single. His first single, The Rain Is Falling, was well received & Winter Records has invited him back to the studio with another contract to record an EP. Known for his passion & upbeat stage presence - even his sad songs have an upbeat vibe - Dominic's sound could be described as Americana meets Pop with a little Soul. His lyrics show an insight that belies his young years, while his rich vocals & infectious melodies have a tendency to captivate & enchant the audience. Through his music, its evident Dominic loves life & his view of the world is highly contagious.
