Discover the treads that bind us in a VR matrix of maya, illusion. These are the threads, the three guṇas, that are behind all variety in this world. With three stories of three ropes we will unwrap the blinders so that we can glimpse the gorgeous world beyond the matrix.
grew up in Honolulu and started his interest in Bhakti in 93’ when he was a young teen of 14. A young friend, Kalae, got him into visiting the local temple, reading bhakti books on reincarnation, and committing himself to sober living. Later in 99’ he joined an ashram as a monk and traveled from coast to coast of the US many times, both teaching Bhagavad Gita as well as studying. This included many trips to India to study and relish the beautiful culture. He has been married for over 20 years and has 3 kids. Nityananda Chandra, a GBC leadership college graduate, had diligently worked as the community director of the Dallas temple for 15 years and now serves at the Bhakti Center’s Soul Talks and Brooklyn temple’s The Darshan Room with teaching, organization, and guest services. He shares, “My joy in life is sharing bhakti with friends as well as teaching those who are new.”
