Katra Film Series NYC's premier international film festival dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of quality indep

Katra Film Series is NYC's Premier Film Festival dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of quality independent cinema from around the world. Every season we curate a diverse selection of quality short-form content. Voted by the audience each month, one short advances to the semi-final rounds. Regardless of who wins each month all official selections will be considered for the Grand Finale event

which takes place in January 2018 with total prizes valued over $10K. The Grand Jury Prize winner is awarded a one-on-one meeting with acclaimed Hollywood Producer Stephen Nemeth. We've been featured in the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, TriBeCa Films, NY Daily News, Metro NY, Remezcla, Limite Magazine.

What an unforgettable week celebrating our 15th edition of the Katra Film Series

A massive THANK YOU to our incredible filmmakers, storytellers, staff, volunteers, sponsors and our amazing audiences who made this year truly special and one for the books.
