The audio is hard to hear but the point remains the same. I hold my students to a standard higher than they hold themselves. On Tuesday the whole class had detention until they completed my 17 focus Questions. No excuses. These questions specifically on this day were a mix of some of our previous questions and some new. Within minutes the students picked up on that. They asked me, Mr. Estrella didn't we do some of these before? That's the purpose, to build on what you have learned and share what you know. Some of you remember these lessons and some of you will remember other, it's your job to work collectively to figure your education out. So make it happen. 25 mins after school was over the room was empty 🥋👌🏾. I was left with a huge lesson to learn from.

This Friday March 4th, Spoken Word Affecting Generations presents . This open mic is aimed at raising money for Flint Michigan therefore all the proceeds will be going to buy clean water for the residents. As always we are bringing you nonStop action, entertainment, and truth all night long. 851 Hegeman Ave, 8pm-12am . Free drinks all night. $10 Donations for admission.
