MA's Playhouse MA's Playhouse is a Caribbean theater company that provides the Caribbean-American Actor and/or Playwright with a voice.

MA's Playhouse mission is to increase the lexicon of plays and films emanating from the Caribbean and its diaspora. It is committed to promoting intercultural understanding and education, and to creating spaces for Caribbean and Caribbean American writers and storytellers to tell their multicultural stories.

Island Perfect Painkiller: Pusser’s Rum, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice, Cream of Coconut, Freshly Grated Nutmeg

Originated and perfected at the Soggy Dollar Bar in the 1970s by Daphne Henderson, the Painkiller has become a staple cocktail of Carribean life. Pusser’s Rum is the staple ingredient in the Painkiller, as it is a dark rum with a unique flavoring that is special to the cocktail.
The proportions of this cocktail are a secret to the bartenders at the Soggy Dollar Bar, but it is still quite easy to make at home!

Although Horchata is a popular drink in many Latin American countries, the recipe for Honduran Horchata differs from the rest. Horchata is typically described as a rice drink mixed with sugar, vanilla, and other spices. But in Honduras, the drink is made with morro or jicaro seeds along with milk and sugar.
This drink is the perfect compliment to any Honduran meal!
