With fluorescent color, fragmented imagery and found objects, Joan Reutershan makes assemblage paintings inspired by the cacophonous energy of New York City, where low and high, chaos and design, sense and nonsense, clash. Reutershan’s painting unsettles the traditional representation of the New York urban landscape as a vertical stack of ground, architecture and sky planes: she qu**rs this genre convention with her incongruous mixed-media assemblage, proposing the cityscape as an open field of possibilities--baffling, dynamic and inclusive. Joan Reutershan received her MA (Art History) and BFA (Studio Art) from Hunter College, City University of New York.

Ellie Murphy's art references hair, crafts, folk art, and is inspired by childhood memories of wind blowing through prairie grass or wheat. Recent pieces use polypropylene macramé fiber with other materials and moves in the light and weather while exploring unraveling and fluffiness. Trying to make physical the rhythm and repetition at the heart of ordinary life evokes this question, “how does one individual strand work in relation to the whole fabric of society?” Ellie lives in Queens, grew up in Kansas, and studied sculpture at Washington University St. Louis and Yale. Amadeo Morelos Favela (b. Morelia, México) is a New York based artist working across painting, sculpture, ceramics, and living systems. His practice explores relationships between materials, perception, and environment through experimentation grounded in everyday experience and informed by philosophical, anthropological, and metaphysical research. Approaching the image as a site of encounter rather than representation, his work investigates shifting relationships between science, belief, ecology, and perception. Through installations and paintings that blur distinctions between the natural and artificial, the mystical and mundane, and the material and imagined, his work creates spaces where meaning emerges through sustained attention and experience. Morelos received an MFA from Columbia University and a BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and is a recipient of the Frankenthaler Fellowship and the Liu Shiming Art Foundation Scholarship.

She has been included in art exhibitions at Studio e Gallery in Seattle, Warbling Collective in London, MoMa PS1 in Queens and NADA Ceramics in Manhattan. Ben Dimock is a sculptor whose work engages material research and precision fabrication as a way of thinking through systems of measurement, support, and environmental control. Using stainless steel, aluminum, and materials associated with scientific instrumentation, he produces engineered forms that operate between utility and abstraction. His background includes teaching in studio settings and professional experience in natural history museum mountmaking (designing and fabricating display supports), where methods of display, stabilization, and care inform his sculptural logic. Dimock has attended the Haystack Mountain School of Craft Open Studio Residency. His work has been exhibited at Perry Lawson Fine Art (2026), the University of Montana (2025), and the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, Vienna (2025). He is currently an MFA candidate at SUNY Purchase.
