Today, I rescued this letter from the trash written in 1979 by my great aunt Felicitas "Lizi" to my dad. She writes:
“...My dad brought me up that one HAS to work. Work to him was living. It had nothing to do with income. You’ll always have all you need, as long as you work, he told me... So I always worked. To me, working means serving my brother man. That’s one of the reasons I am here. Sharing is the key to multiplying. And people today? Full of doubt, fear and anxiety - a rat race after money! While we should start out with gratitude. Gratitude that we are able to serve, gratitude that we are able to share. If you do that, you’ll never be afraid that you’ll ever lack anything good. And you’ll be satisfied!”
