Roots and River Productions is based in Brooklyn, NY and serves as an artistic home for q***r and trans artists of color in the New York City and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. Roots and River’s primary programming consists of a mentorship program designed to pair emerging black q***r artists, especially those just coming out of college, with established black q***r artists. The objective of this program is to strengthen the community and to provide a strong working foundation for artists who otherwise are often overlooked.
