Brooklyn-based bassist, vocalist, and composer Devon Gates brings together jazz, chamber music, and soul with a creative practice that moves across disciplines and genres. A Harvard, Berklee, and Royal Academy of Music alum, Gates has worked with artists including Terri Lyne Carrington, Vijay Iyer, Jen Shyu, and Nicole Mitchell, while developing her own work as a composer and bandleader.
