Dialogue with Three Chords

Dialogue with Three Chords Pub theatre. New plays by Stephen Gracia, directed by Michael LoPorto, and produced by Edie Nugent. Theatre can be many things. It can sprawl across three acts.

It can be spectacle: puppets and costumes and sets and huge casts. It can also be two people talking. It can be street clothes and bare stages. It can be done in ten minutes. It just needs to be effective; it needs to communicate; it needs to transform. Spectacle is good; it envelops you and thunders across you; it's arena rock. It's main stage magic. This isn't that. This is basement theatre. Thi

playwright Stephen Gracia and director Michael LoPorto,
produced by Edie Nugent. D3C features new plays by Stephen, plus live music, poetry,
and short plays by emerging playwrights.

We’re in a cell, listening to them build our gallows. (Pause) Yes. I have some regrets.

Black Will:
Scared that you won’t get into heaven?

Shake Bag:
No. I’m scared that I will.

Black Will:
Never heard that before.

Shake Bag:
If the universe runs on the concept of boundless forgiveness and grace, and I’ve spent my life driven by avarice and revenge, then I’m going to appear quite foolish in front of the other angels.
