Our festival ambassador is none other than Haitian Born, Brooklyn made, JAMIE HECTOR!

This brother is moving mountains for real! His work as an actor is just a modicum of what he is to... and does for his Brooklyn community.

Jamie is also the founder of the Moving Mountains Theater Company which focuses primarily on the children in and around Brooklyn.

This brings me great joy and great pride. Jamie is an example of someone who is not talking the talk but walking the walk.

The Bed Stuy Crown Heights Film Festival salutes Jamie Hector and his Moving Mountains Theater Company.
