A true w Yorker, who I would see regularly see above ground, before going into the club and most likely after the club doing his thing, always in his signature style, with camera in hand. Most often it was in the meat packing district. On a recent MLK Sunday evening I saw him around Time Sq, as I trekked it to Body & Soul in the snow. Last evening, as I was leaving the Center for Brooklyn History of the Brooklyn Public Library, on a random train station, by chance this iconic street photographer posed for my camera, one of those true NY moments.
