Hatchlings is looking for our 2020 programming! And we're doing things a little differently this year!
First off, Hatchlings is looking to have our first ever RESIDENCY! As a part of our Incubator series, you'll have two months dedicated to developing your own piece. This can be theater, dance, a poetry reading series, a music night, whatever you want. You can submit as an individual, as a group, however you choose. You'll work with our new Literary Director, David Mangiamele to shape this and create amazing new work!
Secondly! Due to our successful Screenwriters night this past year, we're offering a number of themed evenings showcasing multiple artists! These evenings include nights for Performers, Screenwriters, Musicals, and even a hilarious night of Cold Readings. These should be short pieces so we can fit in as many performers as possible! These are fun nights to celebrate our amazing community. Let us know if you want to be a part!
And finally, open submissions. These are nights dedicated to single pieces. Again, these can be theatrical readings, but can also be dances, musicals, poetry, whatever your creative mind can come up with!
Hatchlings is a series that values art in all of its forms and celebrates the process, it's not about a finished project, but the works in progress! Come be a part of our 2020 family!
