What a ! I wasn’t sure what to expect but I wanted to get out there again with . It rained, it heated up, all the things happened and still people pulled up, showed their support and connected with independent artists.

That outpour of support reminded me of when we were mid-pandemic and didn’t know what was gonna happen. But the fans (backers) reminded us creators just how much our art needs to be created. I felt the same way this past weekend.

I got to spend time with artists I deeply admire , , and I got to make some new and incredibly talented friends , , , and more.

I came back feeling energized and excited to keep making. A huge boatload of gratitude for everyone who came to see me, hear the story of Squiddies and picked up a piece. I never expected an accidental sketch of a squid to become an entire ocean of characters.

Thanks for having me, and thanks for grabbing this pic. I think it’s the only one I have of me at the table this show haha.

I’ve been wanting to bring Squiddies into this art form since releasing the small resin minis last year. INKY is the first of 4 unique resin cast Squiddies that will be shown at FivePointsFest this weekend. We’ve only made 5 of each cast.

A huge thank you to for being my partner in bringing these to life. He really went all in with my concepts to develop them with me.

I have aspirations of casting in my home, but for now, without a studio and with small kids it doesn’t feel as accessible.

Creating with others gives me tremendous joy and Tyler is incredible.

I can’t wait to bring these out for everyone to see. They look incredible and I’m excited to see who takes them home!
