I love the feeling of a fresh calendar page. Not because everything resets — life rarely works that neatly — but because it’s a chance to look at the year ahead with a little curiosity.

The January image in the 2026 calendar is one of my favorites. It felt honest and quiet and hopeful when I took it, and it still feels that way now. A small reminder to pay attention, to move gently, to begin where you are.

If you’re settling into the new year and want something simple and beautiful to accompany you, the calendar is still available.

These days between Christmas and the new year always feel a bit suspended in time. Not quite one thing or another. I’ve been using the quiet to get organized, finish a few projects, and send out more calendar orders before the year closes.

There’s something grounding about knowing that these images will hang in kitchens and offices and reading nooks all year long. It’s a lovely connection.

If you still want a calendar for yourself — or you’re starting to think about January planning — they’re still available!

I’ve always believed art makes a meaningful gift, especially this time of year. Not because it’s fancy or complicated, but because it carries a little bit of someone’s attention. Someone’s way of seeing.

The 2026 JSP calendar has been my way of offering that — a year of small scenes that made me stop for a second. If you’re still looking for something thoughtful to give someone, it might be a good fit. It’s simple, useful, and easy to keep or pass along.

No pressure, of course. Just something I’ve been thinking about while packing orders this week.

We don’t need validation to belong.

There is strength in softness, especially when it gathers.

Sometimes there is a need to stand alone.

But other times, it’s about the courage to bloom in community.

When one blooms, others follow.

This time of year always slows me down a bit. The light changes, the days get shorter, and everything feels a little softer around the edges. I’ve been sitting with the images from the 2026 calendar again, remembering where I was when each one was taken and what caught my eye in that moment.

It reminds me how often beauty shows up quietly. Not asking for attention. Just waiting to be noticed.

If the calendar finds its way to you this season, I hope it offers a small pause each month — one of those moments where you look up and breathe a little deeper.

I’ve been spending time with the 2026 Juniper Street Photography calendar again, and it reminds me why I make it every year. There’s something about choosing twelve images that asks me to slow down and look closely — really look — at the small pieces of beauty that make a year what it is.

This collection holds moments that stopped me in my tracks. A slant of light. A quiet corner. A bit of color that felt like a surprise. Nothing dramatic, just the kind of everyday beauty we miss when we’re rushing.

If you’d like one for yourself, or to give as a gift, they’re available now. Each month is its own little artwork, and when you’re done with it, you can send it off as a postcard. I love that part — the idea that these images get a second life in someone else’s hands.

Thanks for supporting this work. It means a lot to know these small moments land with people.
