A Juried Exhibition
Wednesday, July 31, 2024

“Of Flesh and Blood” is a juried exhibition that invites photographers to respond to the theme of physicality.

In an age where online experiences often overshadow the tangible human experience, this exhibition places our attention on what truly makes us human. The resulting exhibition will be a photographic survey of what a virtual existence and AI are incapable of ever being; a physical reference, a tactile experience, or a human memory.

Photographers are invited to submit works that capture the raw, unfiltered presence of the human form, the textures of the physical world, what is material or sensory to the human experience, or the dynamic interactions between bodies and spaces. We encourage the use of diverse photographic techniques and processes.

This show is presented by Us for the Arts and juried by Erica Reade and Gaspar Marquez
