BrooklynComicShop is an online Vintage Comic store that operates a seasonal sidewalk comic stand from March to December, located at Literary Walk (The Mall) in Central Park NYC (Saturday, 10AM-4PM) and at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn (Sunday, 10AM-4PM). The Brooklyn Comic Shop operates an outdoor stand from Spring to Fall located at "Literary Walk" in Central Park, NYC during the week. On the weekends, the stand is open in Brooklyn at Pratt Institute at Apple Art store, 321 DeKalb Ave (Saturdays) and Trader Joes on Court st/Atlantic (Sundays). There are hundreds of affordable comics $1-$5, as well as more collectable comics from Golden to Modern age. Other items include original artwork, signed comics, and vintage toys/collectibles.

Marvel’s 9-11 Tribute was the first of its kind to be published after the terror attacks. It was sold as a benefit book and was an artistic response to the tragedy. The book brought together artists from across the industry. Many DC, Marvel and Independent comic creators contributed art and writing to the book. 

This 9-11 Tribute is also noted as Todd McFarlane’s final published artwork for Marvel. 

SIGNATURES : This book is autographed by 42 Comic Creators and Artists that worked on this iconic book. 

Many artists that have signed this book have since passed away: Joe Kubert, John Romita Sr., Neal Adams, Sam Kieth, George Perez and others.

RARE MULTI-SIGNED Comics from Mohegan Sun Terrificon 2026 on August 7th!

Glenn Whitmore, iconic colorist on the Death & Return of Superman was added to Sealed collector versions along with some RARE Platinum editions along with writer, Louise Simonson. Simonson also signed Web of Spiderman 1 with artist Greg Laroque.

Superman Wedding Album added 3 names: Kieron Dwyer, Ron Frenz and Glenn Whitmore.

Art Adams and Greg Laroque signed Marvel Team Up 141 (tied for 1st app. Venom Alien). Adams and Nocenti both signed Longshot 1 & 3 (1st app Mojo)

Ron Frenz SIGNED Comics from Mohegan Sun Terrificon 2026 on August 7th!

Ron Frenz was the main artist for the original Venom Saga in Amazing Spider-Man including the iconic first appearance! He also co created Silver Sable in ASM 265.

He was the artist on the only Boba Fett appearance in Star Wars after ESB as well the cover artist for the first appearance of Apocalypse in X Factor 6.

Frenz had a notable run for DC Superman introducing the Electric Superman redesign as well as contributing to the Wedding Album.

It was a great honor to write about my friend and I know he would have appreciated it.
