Howdy Friends! I'm so excited to share that I'll be playing a Facebook Live show on October 11th with Grace Love and Brian Bonz as part of Free Music Fridays for the American Folk Art Museum! Head over to their page on Friday October 11th at 6pm ET / 5pm CT for the livestream. Hosted by the fabulously talented Lara Ewen!

This month, Free Music Fridays is brought to you in partnership with Local Correspondents, which was a supportive Brooklyn music community for independent artists based at Bar4 in Park Slope from 2003–2013. LC hosted an annual festival as well as weekly showcases and open mic nights at venues throughout New York City, bringing together a talented and diverse group of performers. LC offered a helping hand to performers who live and visit the NYC area by providing them with advice, tips and opportunities to play. Free Music Fridays is proud to host this reunion show, supported by members of the community.

(Reposting so I can pin it) MusiCares is offering free yoga classes on Zoom for musicians and people that work in the music industry starting next week. The Zoom sign up link is below. And if you have any questions about MusiCares in general, I'm happy to answer (this is Jessi Robertson).

30-minute yoga sessions will take place on Wednesdays at 10 central / 11 eastern starting February 17th. No prior experience required. Hey LC Fam! If you have any live stream concerts coming up will you let us know by posting here on the LC page or adding us as an event co-host? I could really use more music in my life right now but it's hard to find the events sometimes, and I would love to have one place to go where I know I can find live streams from my LC and Bar4 friends!!!

Hi LC friends. It's been awhile. I'm really happy to announce a new open mic starting up at C'mon Everybody every 2nd Monday of every other month, hosted by our very own Gillian Visco aka shadow monster. This is a great space, and a great opportunity for us all to reunite, share our music, indulge in adult beverages, and catch up. The first open mic is on April 11th starting at 8pm.
