TW: Thirst trap for turtles

Shameless engagement bait aside, it’s my birthday and I’ve chosen an exercise in free will to save the turtles. I don’t have to tell you that many species of turtles, especially sea turtles, are in a bad way, some nearing extinction. Thankfully there are organizations that have been making a difference on the front lines but wouldn’t it be cool if you (yes the person reading this hello hi lol) could too? Sea Turtle Conservancy- the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group, including the Tortuguero Sea Turtle Monitoring Project in Costa Rica (the longest running sea turtle project on the planet)

Sea Turtle Recovery- the ONLY long term rehabilitation facility of sea turtles in New Jersey (my home state 🙌🏿)

Turtle Survival Alliance- the global gold standard of conservation with the mission to protect the future of all turtles and tortoises from extinction
