What a magical International Piano Day! Co-presented by Ocean Music Foundation and The Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College, our International Piano Duet & Duo Festival on March 29 was a great success. With 9 distinguished artists, 19 festival participants, and many audience members, we had such a fantastic day celebrating the art of twenty fingers (and forty fingers with the Smetana Sonata for piano eight-hands)!
with Jerome Lowenthal, Ursula Oppens, Carmel Lowenthal, Piano Duo Scholtes & Janssens (Lestari Scholtes and Gwylim Janssens), The Long Duo (Beatrice Long and Christina Long), Albert Cano Smit, and Yang Liu
