“Earth Pulse I & II” and “Celestial Tides” have found their forever homes. These pieces were created as part of a special commission for a serene summer residence in the Hamptons—designed to echo the rhythm of the sea, the warmth of sun-soaked sand, and the grounded presence of stone. Inspired by the natural palette and quiet power of the landscape, each painting was carefully composed to harmonize with the home’s surroundings. Months of thoughtful work went into this project, and I’m deeply grateful to see these works living where earth and ocean meet.

Jaded Deadly Hearts (JDH)

This painting bears the scars of its own tumultuous history, a testament to the fragility and resilience of the human heart. Conceived as a labor of love for someone who failed to reciprocate its depth, the original work was ultimately returned to me in tatters. Rather than attempting to restore it, I chose to transform its remnants into something new, driven by a flair for the dramatic and a penchant for irony. The process was meditative, yet painstaking, as I carefully tore and reshaped the fragments into heart-shaped forms, losing track of time in the process. The final piece is a mesmerizing mosaic of singular, miniature paintings, each heart a unique iteration that refuses repetition. Suspended in a sea of black and glittering resin, the hearts shimmer and undulate as light dances across their surfaces, casting a whimsical glow. This painting is an exploration of the intangible: the value we assign to love, to heartache, and to the fragments of ourselves that we share with others. Can we truly put a price on a labor of love? I chose not to auction this piece for now, instead opting to hold it close, for it is a work that demands to be experienced in person, its beauty and essence impossible to capture otherwise.

"Circe"
This painting was the best and worst parts of me as an artist. This medium is a bit wild because you can only control it to a limit, there will always be room for surprise. I struggled with giving my work the freedom to have a different outcome than what initially envisioned. Each circle has been cut from paintings that I have considered failures and scrapes. I choose, with intention, the most beautiful parts of what I considered to be my worst work.

This painting is named after an ancient goddess and sorceress, Circe. While coming into her powers, Circe misused them against her own. Due to this, she was exiled to an island for eternity as punishment. While on the island, she realized that this is the most free she’s ever been. She harnessed her powers using resources that were on this island and cultivated the land while building a life for herself that she was happy with. She turned something very ugly into something that was beautiful, and finally became herself.
