Nitehawk Cinema is an innovative first-run Independent movie house integrating a curated approach to film, food and drinks. The three-screen cinema offers digital and 35mm films with in-seat table-service during each screening, a street-level public café and a lobby concession-bar. The theater will offer a full dinner menu of gourmet concessions using products from Brooklyn artisans, as well as specialty items inspired by individual films that will be served to the moviegoer seats or alongside specialty beers and cocktails at the bars.

Created entirely with Poser animation software by late writer/star Carol Carson and director/writer/star Bryan Beasley as a retirement project, DRACULA’S ANGEL follows Laura Randolph (Carson) as she navigates dead end jobs and small town murders while on a quest to locate her true love: Dracula.

This deeply personal passion project is a gothic horror romance from the uncanny valley, a true glitch in the matrix that feels like it was compiled from the cutscenes of a haunted PS2 video game.

On February 19th, 1992, one of the most stacked Best Director line-ups was announced. The nominees were: Jonathan Demme for THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, Barry Levinson for BUGSY, Ridley Scott for THELMA & LOUISE, John Singleton for BOYZ N THE HOOD (the first Black person to be nominated for this award), and Oliver Stone for JFK.

BEGOTTEN has no characters in the ordinary sense. Its final credits name three
principal figures:

God Killing Himself.
Mother Earth.
Son of Earth — Flesh on Bone.

The entire film is what those names do to each other and to the earth. God Killing Himself tears open his body and dies. Mother Earth rises from what remains and takes his seed into herself. She gives birth to Son of Earth — Flesh on Bone. He is cast into a barren world, seized by the Nomads, tortured, killed, and briefly returned to life by his mother. The Nomads destroy her too. The Robed Figures gather what remains of mother and son, grind their bodies down, and return them to the soil. The ground flowers.
